Adios Amigos!

Adios Amigos!
Bidding farewell is always tough and no words could ever replace that emotion.
Few among us were leaving to embark their new journey. Everyone wanted the last day of togetherness to be special. A plan - secret plan, was laid.
The shift started conventionally, people getting in to their preferred groups, some staying aloof from the lot. Few of us started arrangements for our 'Secret plan' but with a mixed bag of emotions as everyone didn't participate in the plan.
Very soon our secret plan was modified - to include everyone in it. The plan was now no more a secret plan and it was decided to implement on the plan immediately. Few of them were still hesitating to accompany us, but couldn't dissipate due to peer pressure. A sense of reserved -ness, cluster was still evident among us.
As the party started, slowly and gradually people started getting in to the mood. Secret plan members were already high.
The mere presence of alcohol, smoke, card games, food etc started to melt the reserved-ness, it helped others to shed their inhibitions. It was a great sight observing people not holding themselves.
It was time to return to office. People were more content towards the end.
End, as we all know, it has to be gloomy, heart-rending and distressing. This end turned out to be different. People avoiding, were now interested to be a part of herds.
The end, that dispersed wave 0967, actually clustered everyone together. The farewell which was supposed to end with good-bye, ciao, sayonara... however ended with,

See you soon...

Hello!

'Thank you for choosing Microsoft.
Have a wonderful day.'....

....and the call ended.

Finally, the endless mock call practice comes to an end. End of shift it is. In between all those 'Hellos' and 'Thank you', my ear yearned to hear that one 'Hello!'
The most special of all, from the most special person. This 'Hello' brings some kind of solace to my ears.
In a nine hours of shift, I listen to many 'Hellos' - rude, sweet, frustrating, kind, Irate, desperate ...
But this 'Hello' stands out from the rest. It's like a homecoming to me - a bird lost its way coming back home.
This 'Hello' gives a feeling of content.
I wonder, in this paced up world, new friends, some-one, some-thing might replace the 'Hello'.
But the moment, I dialed the number and heard the 'Hello' I realized this 'Hello' will never have a 'Thank you' to end with.
